This cheap home remedy for acne will help reduce breakouts and blemishes in as little as 12 hours.
Many
people are cursed with oily skin that breeds acne and blemishes.  For
some it’s genetic(1).  For others it’s their diet (2).  Rarely is acne
caused by poor hygiene, although it may be the cause for a few
individuals.
Men and women the world
over spend billions of dollars annually chasing the perfect
complexion.  Television ads promote products that promise to rid the
face and body of ugly pimples, blemishes and dark spots.  Some of these
products work; others don’t. The problem is that most of these skin care
products cost a small fortune and usually only deliver sub-par results.
One
cheap home remedy for acne that works fast includes two ingredients
that are found in nearly every household:  hydrogen peroxide(3) and
baking soda powder(4).  The combination of these two substances creates a
coarse paste that rapidly dries up pimples.
To
make this acne-busting paste, simply pour a small amount of liquid
hydrogen peroxide into the cupped palm of your hand.  Next, add a small
quantity of baking soda powder to the liquid and mix it with your finger
until it forms a wet, coarse paste.
Once
the paste has reached the appropriate consistency, apply it to the area
of skin that is affected by the acne just as you would any other acne
medication.  As the paste dries, some of the baking soda will fall off
in clumps, but most of the product should adhere to the skin.   Keep the
product on affected area for several hours then wash the skin as
usual.  Typically, the area of acne will significantly diminish within a
 day or two.
Caution must be
exercised, however.  Hydrogen peroxide has a tendency to bleach skin,
hair, clothing and other fabrics.  It is best to keep the paste away
from clothing and linens as bleaching may occur.
This
simple home remedy can be prepared in less than a minute and costs a
fraction of what typical acne medications cost.  The results may even
surpass those of expensive skin care products.
