It’s no secret. The more page views that contributing writers achieve on revenue sharing websites the more money will be earned. Those of us who write and publish web content with the goal to increase online earnings are always looking for ways to increase web traffic. Many rely on search engine optimization (SEO) techniques such as strategic keyword placement with the hopes that search engines will look favorably upon our work and send us lots of Internet traffic.
The reality is that there is such an abundance of competing Internet content that it is difficult for the average writer to earn a generous piece of the revenue pie. Often the best solution is to rely on our own article marketing rather than depending on third parties and Internet search engines to direct traffic to our work.
Many writers find that social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter generate a significant amount of web traffic to their articles and ultimately result in enhanced page views and earnings. One of the problems with exclusively using Facebook and Twitter to promote online content is that viewership is greatly dependent upon the shares, likes and re-tweets of friends and followers. It can be incredibly time consuming to constantly post to social media websites to earn money online through article page views.
One
solution that I have found to be extremely effective in drastically
increasing web traffic and enhancing online earnings is using a
scheduling service through the social media website Stumble Upon.
Stumble Upon combines the benefits of traditional social media sites
with that of a social bookmarking model that presents web pages and
articles to users who have defined topic preferences. By submitting
articles and web pages to Stumble Upon, contributors can watch as the
number of page views explodes in a very short period of time.
Not
every article or web page that contributors submit to Stumble Upon will
receive out-of-this-world page views, but often, sometimes without
notice, page views will rank in the thousands within just a few hours. I
once submitted a blog post to Stumble Upon reviewing a popular whey
protein supplement for bodybuilding and within a couple of hours my blog
post had over 3000 views from Stumble Upon alone
Here's the blog post that got over 3000 Stumble Upon views in just a few short hours.
